These last few months have been a difficult time for everyone, especially family carers, and we’d like to help you find some moments of deep peace.
Carer Life-Spa is a free, virtual nourishing relaxation session, especially designed to care for your body and your mind. Fortnightly on Wednesdays, 11am-12 noon on Zoom. Book via our Harborne or Kings Heath timetables or find us on Eventbrite.

Yes! Real-life spa, as in massage, pool, pampering.
We start each Wednesday session with a little chat led by Kam Bola, life-coach and yoga teacher – and a Carer herself – followed by a 30 minute mindful movement session to open up the body and release tension. We finish with 15 minutes of deep rest / guided meditation to totally relax the mind.
No experience of mindfulness or movement is required, just an open mind and an intention to relax. A yoga mat / gym mat, or some kind of non-slip surface to stand on.
You’ll finish the session feeling deliciously calm, clear and re-charged for the day ahead.
Light a candle, burn some incense, have a pillow/cushion and a blanket on hand, get ready for your own personal spa right there in your living room.
FREE Yoga For Carers
We also offer free Yoga for family Carers registered with Birmingham Carers Hub, both online and in person at our studios. A Carers 10-Class Yoga pass gives you access to any of our regular classes (beginners to experienced), 7 days a week.
These services are brought to you in partnership with Birmingham Carers Hub. Register with this friendly not-for-profit support service online in a matter of minutes. You don’t need to be a full-time Carer, or be in receipt of Carer benefits, to take up these opportunities to re-charge and to start feeling good.
