Barefoot classes are popular! To be sure of a space you must book and pay in advance. For more info on getting started read our FAQs.
1. Download the free MINDBODY mobile App, create your account and use the Search icon to locate ‘Barefoot Birmingham’. Already created a Barefoot Birmingham Studio account online or at the studio? Use the same login details and your visit history, upcoming classes and account details will all be transferred.
2. View the timetable and book and pay for a class or workshop. After you’ve booked your session you can easily find BAREFOOT within your FAVOURITES in the App. You can also set Barefoot as your Home screen within the App.
3. Alternatively, you can book your classes online using the Timetable page.
4. What’s this Wait List thing? When a class or workshop is fully booked you may see the option to add yourself to the Wait List, via the website or using the MINDBODY App. Do this! If a spot opens up you’ll receive an email or text notifying you. You can then accept or decline. It’s always worth adding yourself to a Wait List as places do open up. Note: If you add yourself to the Wait List but you don’t get a spot, you’ll be able to use the class credit for a future class within 30 days of purchase.
Please arrive 10 mins before start of class. Due to Covid-19 we ask that you bring your own mat and arrive ready-changed. Or you can buy a mat from the studio. The changing rooms and showers are not currently open. You must be on your mat before the class starts, no late entry.
See HERE for latest Covid-19 measures and rules to help keep you safe.
Check with your doctor before starting classes and always let your teacher know about any injuries, recent surgeries or medical issues. We usually run specialist Pregnancy Yoga classes for women who have reached their 14th week of pregnancy, but these are on hold due to Covid-19. Our general yoga classes are not suitable during pregnancy as not all instructors are trained in this area. The Women Only Yoga class at Harborne however (Thurs 8-9pm) is suitable for mums-to-be who have reached 14 weeks of pregnancy. It’s more than suitable – blissful!
Post-natal mums should wait until at least 6 weeks after giving birth before starting classes, and after your midwife or doctor has given you the all-clear to resume exercise. Please don’t ask us to make an exception, we have the wellbeing of you and your little one at heart.
