Carer Life-Spa is a free programme of in-person and virtual relaxation sessions.

Monthly on Thursdays, in-person or join us on Zoom. Book via our Harborne timetable (you’ll need to create a Barefoot Birmingham account first) or find us on Eventbrite.
Our Thursday session are hosted by Kam Bola, life-coach and yoga teacher – and a Carer herself. She’ll lead you through a wonderful mindful movement session to open up the body and release tension. There’s also a period of deep rest / guided meditation to totally relax the mind.
Everything is very informal and you don’t need to stay for the whole two hours. The second part of the morning is all about tea, chat and laughter.
Sometimes we’ll have a guest speaker or therapist come and share their wellbeing tips. Some weeks it might be head & shoulder massage. You probably will want to stay…
- No experience of mindfulness or movement is required, just an open mind and an intention to relax.
- You’ll finish the sessions feeling deliciously calm, clear and re-charged for the day ahead.
- You may like to bring your own yoga mat if you have on.
