FREE Yoga For Carers

Barefoot has a non-profit arm (Barefoot Wellbeing CIC, Co. No. 09740242), enabling us to help those groups who may not ordinarily have much access to Yoga.

We offer free Yoga for family Carers registered with Birmingham Carers Hub, both online and in person at our studios. A Carers 10-Class Yoga pass gives you access to any of our regular classes (beginners to experienced), 7 days a week.

Check our Harborne timetable to find the right classes for you. Email faye@barefootbirmingham.com for more info and to apply.

These services are brought to you in partnership with Birmingham Carers Hub. Register with this friendly not-for-profit support service online in a matter of minutes. You don’t need to be a full-time Carer, or be in receipt of Carer benefits, to take up these opportunities to re-charge and to start feeling good.

Watch this space, there’s also some hotel spa sessions planned for later in the year.
Yes! As in massage, pool, lunch, pampering.

We start each Wednesday virtual session with a little chat led by Kam Bola, life-coach and yoga teacher – and a Carer herself – followed by a 30 minute mindful movement session to open up the body and release tension. We finish with 15 minutes of deep rest / guided meditation to totally relax the mind.

No experience of mindfulness or movement is required, just an open mind and an intention to relax. A yoga mat / gym mat, or some kind of non-slip surface to stand on.

You’ll finish the session feeling deliciously calm, clear and re-charged for the day ahead.

Light a candle, burn some incense, have a pillow/cushion and a blanket on hand, get ready for your own personal spa right there in your living room.
