Yoga Alliance 200hr Course – Hatha and Flow Yoga

“Barefoot provided excellent YTT training. When Coronavirus struck they adapted quickly and effectively, continuing to provide their excellent training. All trainers/teachers were experts in their field such as anatomy, asana, history and philosophy, Ayurveda, techniques and business, and were able to teach their specialist areas to a high standard. Their support and belief in all trainees was immense. I thoroughly enjoyed the challenge.”  Wendy Salmon, Barefoot YTT graduate.

This is a non-residential, in-studio course, with live online sessions in-between the weekends we spend together.

    FAQs

    What experience do I need?

As a minimum you will have been practising yoga for at least 2 years and be very comfortable holding the common asanas practised in Hatha or Flow based sequences. You’ll also be clear on why you’d like to teach or take your practice deeper. You do not need to know Sanskrit or to be able to perform advanced postures.

What we ARE looking for is compassionate, open-minded, yoga-mad life-lovers! Yoga teachers OF THE FUTURE to go out into the real world and make a difference to peoples’ lives on and off the mat.

    How will I be assessed?

If it’s been a while since you sat down to write an essay, please don’t worry. You’ll be assessed by various methods, including journal keeping and class observation, online testing, written assignments and practical teaching sessions. The course has been designed to give you plenty of time to practise your teaching skills and build confidence.
