This one hour Jivamukti ‘Spiritual Warrior’ class in Harborne is energising and invigorating, with powerful verbal instruction and hands-on assists. Definitely a ‘get-in-shape’ class.

Set to an uplifting soundtrack, expect sun salutations, standing poses, back bends, forward bends, twists, inversions, meditation, a little chanting and relaxation. It’s got it all going on. And all in one hour.

The class follows a set sequence, so you’ll get familiar with the postures quickly. The teacher does not demonstrate, but instead gives very specific spoken cues to help draw your attention and focus inwards.

Thursdays 8-9pm (no Jivamukti class 22 June 2017, Yoga Flow instead).

Level 2 – Stepping up a gear (not suitable for complete beginners)

If you are pregnant, or less than 7 weeks post-natal, we ask that you do not attend our general yoga and Pilates classes. Not all of our instructors are trained in this area and we are unable to guarantee a safe pregnancy practice. Please do not ask us to make an exception! If you are more than 14 weeks into your pregnancy you are welcome to join one our specialist pregnancy classes.
