Bandhas are internal “locks” within the body which, amongst other things, help us to control balance and retain poise. Strengthening bandhas is therefore hugely helpful in life, both on and off the mat, yet identifying and utilising these locks can be tricky.

 

In this workshop we will explore the associated anatomy and the various ways in which we can engage and strengthen our bandhas. Learn techniques and gain confidence in your ability to practice asana requiring bandha strength, including working towards headstand and arm balances. If you’ve attended a workshop with Jon Moult before, you know the score – bring a notepad and leave your ego and worries at home. Expect lots of laughter and learning through ‘avin a go 🙂
