What’s new in 2016?

Only 3 days into 2016 and we’ve already conjured up two items on the Barefoot wishlist for the year – I’ll call that a good start! Latest yoga workshops, new classes, new benefits – all this and more, headed your way soon:

  • Acro Balance is coming to Barefoot on Sun 20 March, 2-5pm with Beckie Hannah and guest teacher, Ski. More about Beckie here. This is the most artistic, acrobatic form of yoga you’ll ever do. No fear, this introductory workshop will cover all the basics, so no dance background or circus experience necessary! Partner optional – you’ll be paired up with other participants.

  • Yin Yoga is making a comeback – every 4th Sunday of the month, 4-6pm starting 24 Jan with Barefoot’s most hypnotic voice, Suzi Vavrikova. Apart from being a nice complement to a strong, sweaty Yang-based practice (like most of our other classes are), Yin’s slow, quiet pace and long, deep holds are the ultimate gateway if you’re looking to deepen your awareness of your body, your self, your feelings, emotions and sensations.   • More yoga holidays! In case you’ve missed it, Barefoot is back in the Balearics – this time in Mallorca – from 25 Jun to 2 Jul. More details here, and sneak peek into the gorgeous La Serrania location here.


  • Free 15-minute private one-to-one with every welcome offer sign-up. Get expert help with specific postures, ask any burning questions, and find the best classes and workshops for you as you progress!



Remember to book your classes early to avoid disappointment. It’s January, we’re busy, we have ‘Wait  Lists’. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE adhere to our late-cancellation policy – if you’ve booked and are unable to make it for whatever reason, please cancel online (download the Barefoot Birmingham App or go online).

STOP PRESS! We’ve now reduced our 8 hour late cancellation window to just one hour before class start time, so you’ll have plenty of time to cancel and let someone else take your place. If you cancel with less than an hour to go or no-show,  you’ll lose your class credit.

For ‘unlimited’ packages, if you ‘late cancel/no show’ more than twice in a given month, you’ll be unable to book classes in advance the following month. You’ll be on the naughty step, and have to queue up, praying for a last minute space 🙁
