WHAT EXPERIENCE DO I NEED?

As a minimum, you will have been practising yoga for at least 2 years and be very comfortable holding the common asanas practised in Hatha or Flow based sequences. You’ll also be clear on why you’d like to teach or take your practice deeper. You do not need to know Sanskrit or to be able to perform advanced postures.

What we ARE looking for is compassionate, open-minded, yoga-mad life-lovers! Yoga teachers OF THE FUTURE to go out into the real world and make a difference to peoples’ lives on and off the mat.

HOW WILL I BE ASSESSED?

If it’s been a while since you sat down to write an essay, please don’t worry. You’ll be assessed by various methods, including journal keeping and class observation, on-line testing, some written assignments and practical teaching sessions.

This 9 month course is designed to give you plenty of time to practise your teaching skills and build confidence.
