Fancy a weekend of yoga, meditation, yummy veggie food, and fresh country air? Of course you do. Bookings now open for the Barefoot Retreat to Poulstone Court in the gorgeous Wye Valley, 27-29 Sept 2019.
The yoga will be a mixture of Hatha, Flow and Yin, with Mel Monks, Tania Moutinho and Faye Fenton. There will be morning (not too early) and evening yoga sessions and lots of free time to explore the surrounding countryside, read, chill and maybe treat yourself to a massage. Everything is optional, you can do as much as a little as you like.
Beginners welcome.
Poulstone Court is a charming Victorian country house with stunning views. Bedrooms are simple, spacious and characterful. Most are twins and large four-bedded rooms with lovely views out to the gardens and fields beyond. There’s an old tennis lawn, a walled garden, a stone sitting circle, a stand of beautiful old beech trees, an orchard, a fire pit and the giant Wellingtonia tree which has shaded many a conversation and moments of reflection.
Arrival is late Fri afternoon, depart after Sunday lunch. The weekend includes all yoga, food, drink, and shared overnight accommodation, but not travel or insurance.
We can help coordinate car-shares, or it’s an easy peasy 1h 30m train journey, direct from Birmingham New St. to Hereford. A taxi to Poulstone from Hereford costs about £18. There are a few single rooms available but these will be at an extra cost.
